You just went to SeaCompression and participated in the Self Portrait Studio YAY! Thank you! I hope you had as much fun as we did!
We made a gazillion awesome pictures together. Check the set for YOUR image or group image and use flickr's share function to send me a link (firstname.lastname@example.org) to your photos, be sure to include your email address so I know where to send them. I'll send you back zipped package of your humungous tiff files that are print ready, and adjusted copies that are more suitable for digital use. This may take me a day or five to handle as I'm a full time estudiante.
If you see only one photo of yourself and you're all like "Mang I musta taken elebenty pictures! Where they?" You did, and I'll send you the photos that were in focus. Lets face it, not every picture is a keeper.
Thanks to Ignition NW for the microgrants that have made the Self Portrait Studio better with every iteration.
I know you love a luv the pictures you see in the set of images from the night and you really, really want to keep them, and use them as your profile pictures and stuff - that's awesome! The pictures you will see will be small and of crap quality. Please send me an email with a link to YOUR picture and your email address, and I'll email you back a big beautiful printable tiff you can use any which you want. Deal? Free portraits for the asking!
But hey, if you want to contribute to the making of your photos, you are welcome to donate to the studio (and me), but you are by no means obligated to =) The studio and the resulting photos are in every way a gift. However by donating you are supporting the making of art that you personally have "rights" to. Donating would be be for the sake of supporting the artists who make it.
Your pictures are living on my flickr page, it's easier than hosting a million pictures myself. I know what? Click on the image below to be taken to the SeaCom 2012 set. Check the project page for links to past events too.
